My work is inspired by the beauty of natural forms to create small, precious sculptural objects which can be worn

My designs have an organic natural quality. My inspiration comes from the beautiful surroundings of rural Derbyshire and other lovely places in Britain

The pieces I make are all formed by hand at my workbench. They are not manufactured or mass-produced and each piece is completely unique, even where a design may look similar

Hollow pieces often have a tiny hole or two in the back of the piece. These are a necessary part of the making process because when a hollow form is soldered closed, the flame creates hot air within the piece, which has to have somewhere to escape or it simply blows open at the seams!

Sand cast rings naturally have little pits in them. This is perfectly normal and these tiny holes come from the imprint of the sand grains left behind in the metal. These little dimples often appear black; this is natural oxidisation of the metal, formed during the hot casting process.
